Some initial layout problems March30th 2006
I don't know how you guys do it and add quality content at the same time, I'm looking at delightful finished, polished pages, which is time consuming in itself to produce, but not only that.. NO funny, whitty, interesting web developments to boot.
So here I am, and I figure the only angle I have is to document my progress, or most commonly, lack of into the delightful world of web publishing.
It took me quite some time before I decided that I wanted to be participating on the other side of the screen, not happy to sit and surf without interaction anymore.
Hello cyber oh yeah CYBER SPACE I am here, was my victory cry as my first words appeared looking back at me, spelling errors intact from the digital void.
I danced on one leg like a demented bafoon around the lounge. I was alone my joy not muted by my solity state, so now here I am having discovered web standards, clean code.
Don't take issue with the code,
I am still working and learning on it
So I just wanted to chuck in a screen shot to encourage those of you who wish to do the same,
but havn't yet started.
The endevour will for sure keep you busy, alienate your family who want to check out the latest greatest deals on
e-bay, turn your conversations into, I just can't figure out why this isn't working
2.am itchy eyes, I for one being a little nervous in the beginning have realised to just do it.
There is a world of like minders out there and we are all alive.
It does get easier and then I believe the fun can expand, like our cosmic home zoooming ever outwards.
As you can see I have adopted the blix theme, and a liitle while down the line am starting to understand the structure of elements, whilst also absorbing like a tired sponge the php 'come here my code' side of things. Only a month ago it seemed out of my range, I left it came back refreshed, or at least thoughtful and had another crack, and confidence is rising.
